Shark Tank is an American television series related to business. It premiered in 2009. It is an American franchise of the Japanese show Dragons Den. In the show, entrepreneurs pitch their business presentations to investors who are known as Sharks in this show. These sharks decide whether to invest in the business or not. The Sharks often find mistakes or weaknesses in an entrepreneur’s business model or presentation. The sharks are paid as the cast for the show. But the money they are investing in the businesses is their own. The entrepreneur chooses the deal of the shark and makes a handshake to confirm the deal. She wants to have the soul-nourishing taste of the Himalayas. Her aim was to give the real taste of the Himalayas region. This taste couldn’t be found in the streets of Delhi. She asked for Rs 50 lakh with 5% of equity. She got Rs. 75 lakh with 16% of equity. The sharks invested in this are Ashneer, Aman and Vineeta.

Can cocktail is a quick drink of mixture of flavours. It is a ready cocktail that don’t need time to make just open and enjoy the drink. The idea of In A Can came during the lockdown by Sameer Mirajkar and Viraj Sawant. They both have studied in Hotel Management. They have studied in London for their higher education. During lockdown they thought of can cocktails which are not popular in India. They wanted to make India’s first ready to serve cocktail. They tried different flavours and gave them to restaurants and cafe’s to taste and pass. They have five flavours of cocktail Gin & Tonic, Vodka Mule, Whiskey Collins, Tum Latte and Liit. The life of these cans is 9 months. They want to make “In A Can” a global brand. For their expansion and market awareness they asked for Rs 50 lakh with 2% of equity. All the sharks were interested in the idea so they all wanted to invest and they decided to give Rs 1 Crore with 10% of equity. Every shark invested Rs 20 crores with 2% of equity.

It is India’s first Athleisure brand for electronic gadgets. It is a D2C (Direct to Consumer) which doesn’t allow middlemen. They sell their products directly. It is a small startup with 14 SKUs (Stock Keeping Unit) out of which the top 3 SKUs are Hammer Bash which is Headphones, Hammer Watch and Wireless Charger. The company was started in 2019. The founder of Hammer Lifestyle is Rohit Nandwani. He pitched his idea including the electric toothbrush which is only used by a few per cent of people in India. He asked for Rs 30 lakh with % equity. Only 3 of the sharks were interested in investing in Hammer. Ashneer and Anupam gave an offer of Rs 1 crore with 25% equity whereas Aman the founder of Boat offered to sell his company in 1 crore with 75% of equity. He wanted the company Hammer to grow with him with the idea of electric toothbrushes. At last Rohit accepted the offer of Aman but with 40% of equity.
